In the closest match of the night, Monash Wanderers had to fight hard to defeat a greatly improved Barmera Beer n Balls. The score was 7 – 5 Wanderers way going into the Doubles, but Beer n Balls won the 1st two doubles to level the score. Wanderers held on to win by the barest margin 8 – 7. Top side Loxton RSL was pushed all the way by Barmera Odd Bods only winning 9 – 6. Odd Bods played well and could be the surprise team in the finals. Barmera Rooshooters had a 10 – 5 win over a competitive Loxton Penguins. 2nd side Renmark R C Ones had a comfortable win over Cobby Kants.
