In the days of Leviticus, a bride was but chattel to be - TopicsExpress

In the days of Leviticus, a bride was but chattel to be transferred from one male, the Father, to another male, the groom -complete with as handsome a dowry as could be afforded, to necessarily sweeten the pot and make the fathers chattel more desirable; after all, the social value of this daughter/bride was most-often tallied as being less than that of a good slave-boy. The idea of equality in a man/woman “marriage” was a concept that would not be understood by the throwback Alpha Male patriarchy for millennia to come. In the land of Leviticus –right now, in the 21st century. a bride/daughter is STILL not respected as an equal, nor civilly recognized in a just manner. Those are the facts: the once popular anti-gay interpretation is a human one; The Divine words, says nothing here about hate, or bullying or stripping of rights that are recognized by the government. “As with”. Equality in a gay loving household is the godly rule: Do not lie (have a relationship) with a man *AS WITH* a woman: doesn’t say “don’t” anywhere; it merely means “all that raping, and denial of civil rights and property you do to The Ladies”...? Dont do that to your man. Its an abomination. Crystal clear message, and the prohibition stops there, cold. “Do not lie as with. And the rest of that chapter makes no statement about gay couples in love. One only need read it for one’s self AS WRITTEN: it only says, dont do to your partner as a straight would do to his woman/possession because that sort of treatment among equals, is an “abomination”. Couldnt be clearer. Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
