In the early nineteenth century, the Catholic Church discussed what kind of sin it is to have carnal connection with a female corpse (coire cum foemina mortua) and came to the conclusion that it shouldnt be considered whoring (fornicatio) or bestiality but just pollution with a tendency to whoring (Esse pollutionem et fornicationum aecitvam) Presumably it was happening frequently enought o be AOB at the end of the monthly meeting agenda...
