In the end, the same students, who along with their parents were always worried during the two years in THE school, get along quite well when it comes to employment or living their lives. The teachers may say that it was their effort, for two years, which made the students live happily. If that is true, students from other schools, who do not face the same oppression in their two years, would have turned up jobless. But they dont. Everyone, gets to see the world in the end, and live happily, within their own domains and definitions of happiness. So whats point of this suffering? I was discussing this point with a parent, and he blatantly said, These teachers are themselves frustrated with their lives, and they take out their frustration on these young kids. If any one of those teachers are reading this post somehow (which I highly doubt), to that teacher, Sir/Madam, times have changed. Today Science students in higher secondary courses have the option, and the thinking, and the support of their parents and teachers like us, to think Out-of-the-box and choose a career they like. And you may be surprised to know that those students whom you oppressed for two years, and who still stood by their dreams, are successful, much to your frustration, I presume. But do you realize that your action on these young kids have made many loose their way? You wont know that, because you dont care about anyone. But I do. I am happy for those who survived, but remember those I lost. And I dont want to loose any more. So please stop this menace. The students who will make it to the IITs and NITs and JUs, will do so, with or without your inhuman pressure. Please take a moment to care about those who dont want to be an engineer or a doctor, but have taken up Science just to learn. Learning is the sole purpose of education, isnt it? Your oppression doesnt let them learn. Learning is a choice; it always has been. Please do not compel them to. They wont. All they will learn is how cruel you are, when you thought that they will be able to attempt problems on Calculus, when they dont have Mathematics in their subject combination.
