In the episode of Emmerdale that airs on Friday 11th of October, as news spreads about Cameron’s escape & disappearance, both Chas & Debbie are living in fear, knowing of course how angry he is over what they did. Debbie tries to busy herself with work, but the mystery calls soon break her bravado as she slumps down distraught but Debbie’s mind is put at rest when the police show her C.C.T.V. footage of Cameron boarding a ferry – but is it all as it seems? Elsewhere, Paddy’s torn as he tries to decide whether to tell Rhona about his night with Chas, leaving Marlon & Laurel exasperated as they advise him against it but Chas is not in the mood to discuss Paddy’s marriage issues with him & she tells him to see Rhona & sort it out between themselves. Meanwhile, Ali’s put out as Ruby rushes off suspiciously with new arrival Lindy, who is Ruby’s mysterious caller. It soon becomes clear Lindy is Ruby’s mum & that their mother/daughter relationship isn’t great. Ruby tries to deter her mum from sticking around as she dreads telling Ali that Lindy is her mother but Ali is left stunned when the reason for Ruby’s reticence becomes clear why! Also, as a severe weather storm with high winds & heavy rain hits Emmerdale village, Rishi’s suspicious of Rodney’s nocturnal activities & issues him with a final warning – his escorting days really have to be over, or he’ll tell Georgia.
