In the eyes of the law, pets are possessions and when you die, you - TopicsExpress

In the eyes of the law, pets are possessions and when you die, you have the ride to decide what happens to the pet, that means that you can even bring those pets to the grave with you. A woman from Aurora decided to do that with her dog Bela. She left a note with her attorney saying that after she dies her pet must be pud down and her ashes put with hers. A little egocentric if you ask me. Bela should be allowed to live her life now that her previous owner has died. But now Belas life is in the hands of the estate. For now, Bela is being boarded at PAWS of Dearborn County and the volunteers say that the dog is beautiful, smart, well trained and she deserves a home. No one has the right to take away the life of an animal and whoever does that should be punished! Animals have feelings too and they have rights and one of those rights is the right to life! Bela should be allowed to live her life and I think no one is fit to decide if she dies or lives! Not even her deceased owner! Connie Lays cousin is the appointed personal representative, or executor and the decision now lies in his hands! Take action now! Your signature might save Belas life!
