In the face of much challenge, some things do not change. As I have done for fourteen years now, I will be heading to Guatemala at the end of January to lead sixteen writers in my annual Lake Atitlan Writing Workshop. One opening remains. You can apply with a writing sample, or a letter to me, addressing your writing goals. We work very hard during this workshop. But we also laugh a lot. We eat amazing food, swim in the lake, do yoga, make lifelong friends. I know the workshop will change your writing. On occasion, I am told, it may accomplish more than that.
