In the face of the increasing threat to personal security and because of the porosity of our borders plus the fact that extremism is nurtured internally, Kenya must introduce a law that requires continuous registration of persons. 1. Within one month of birth for a child 2. Within a fortnight in case of death 3. Within three months upon moving to a new place/address. This should include a relative who comes to stay over for longer than three months. This will make those endless population census exercises obsolete while improving on data accuracy. This can be done by the ward administrators working closely with the Kokwet elders
