In the interest of occasionally using my Facebook posts for something more consequential than heres-Joe-Biden-eating-ice-cream photos and musings on how Im an old person who gets unreasonably excited about homemade soup: Im lucky enough to have several friends who have devoted years of their lives to the Peace Corps, thus qualifying as approximately 154,275,891 times more badass than, say, me, who has trouble adapting to Port-o-Potties and hotel ballrooms with crappy wifi. Now, some of those people are seeing places and families that they came to love being ravaged by fear. So I just gave a donation to the National Peace Corps Associations Ebola Relief Fund, because someone a lot more brave than me asked me to. Of course, as already established, I am a giant weenie. But, even so, I urge you to consider doing the same anyway. Really. Please.
