In the journey of Self-realization there must come many - TopicsExpress

In the journey of Self-realization there must come many unveilings, the first is directly experiencing the realization that one is not this physical body or the conditioned mind. This must be the first to be inquired into because if one still clings onto the safety net of personal identity and conditioning there is no way to go deeper. Often times people will get stuck in this stage, which becomes a fixation often times to deny certain painful things one doesnt want to look at. this stage of going beyond the body is not the end of the Realization. when there is liberation from conditioning and suffering one comes fully back into the world, and returning whole without suffering, this is only for the benefit of all beings, to serve others. The stage of breaking free from the identification of the body and the personal is a very important stage in the journey however it is not the end. if one becomes stuck in this Absolute stage it becomes another stagnation. Personal identity also comes back into view again and is not denied, but rather played out like in a movie, it is seen in a transcended way as only a temporary phenomena like the body is, they are appearances in the Self, that come and go within this lifetime, but are not ones true unchanging essence. they are only surface levels of Consciousness, and one remains detached from clinging to stories and defenses of taking things personally. all of life is fully embraced again, one becomes intimate with all existence, nothing is pushed away: relationships, pleasures, enjoying things, but life is experienced in a liberated state free from fear, clinging and running. Ones true whole self is revealed that requires no more search or outer factors to make one complete, one has already been complete this whole time as one was, only we needed to go through this big long search to find that out LOL. :) -Paul
