In the just ended first ever Malawis tripartite elections, the former ruling Peoples Party (PP) has been humiliated while the mighty Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) curted away a marginal victory. The opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) was badly bruised, with the United Democratic Front (UDF) suffering bruises of the worst degree of measure. It was reported that the loosing camps, led by the UDFs Atupele, mechanized a plot to impeach Mutharika in the early sittings saying he was undully declared winner. Apparently, the winning DPP has been so gracious by extending an Olive Branch to all loosing parties for the good of the nation, a gesture which has, so far, been welcomed by the UDF only. Malawi24 engaged the loosing MCP and PP for their comments on the impeachment plot, now that the UDF seems comfortably embraced in the DPP folder. Shortly, a report on the engagement exercise will be published with Malawi24. We therefore invite you to keep logged to Malawi24 to get the report fresh. Your readership and diverse comments are highly cherished by Malawi24. You bring the appetite to serve you more and serve you honorably.
