In the last couple of weeks, Ive been approached by three friends asking advice about getting into real estate. Bottom line.... Find something you love and you will never work a day in your life. I love what I do. I love the people that have mentored me and taught me through the years. I will never forget the first person and biggest influence in my career, Dell Hudson. She met a 26-year-old Texas girl in Wetumpka, Alabama, and saw my potential. She took me under her wing and taught me everything she knew. Hundreds of transactions, countless showings and appointments...each and every person has been a blessing. Each transaction a challenge and unique experience. Real estate is a puzzle...finding the right fit for the right person....Making things come together.... Building from the ground up. Finding that 100-year-old diamond in the rough. Find someone you respect, and soak up everything they teach and show you. Appreciate the challenges. Understand that no just means try again. Its not for everyone...but for me, its life. Take the challenge...
