“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” JOHN 7:37 Have you ever eaten a huge plate of food, yet you weren’t full? This is an example of someone who does not have Jesus Christ in there lives. Why? Because our flesh hungers to do/have the things of this world, yet we are not full and satisfied when we obtain it, and want more. There is a sense of need and wanting that we try to fill, yet cannot be filled by what this world has to offer. “And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.” (1 Corinthians 7:31) But there is a solution, one that fills, satisfies, and brings peace. To surrender to God, read his word (The Bible), and pray to God Almighty to fill our bodies with his spirit and his word. God alone, can only replace our want for this world, into a want for righteousness and what the Bible has to offer. “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world…” (1 John 2:15) So Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I urge you to not want things that will not satisfy us, but to seek the Lord so that he may give us what we really need and what satifies us.”Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Matthew 24:35) God Bless You :)
