In the last few days Ive seen nearly 10 people who are clearly vetrans homeless on the street . right here in Hampton roads, the heart of our military, the core of our navy . i talked to one and asked him how he ended up that way, he explained after Vietnam the army cut him loose with no explanations and no idea what to do, no one would hire him for a job because he had no highschool education, he had no family left to help. i asked him why he didnt go to th veterans affairs department for help, he asked me what that was. this is unacceptable, how many of our vets are getting no help because they dont know about the V.A.? how many are dying because no one told them?
