In the last few weeks I have had some very important events happen in our lives and in the lives of my people. From the pageant to school day. So many have joined in with me in giving up sleep, sacrificing your time, and coping in difficult situations. I have certainly learned that things will not always go as planned but the impact we have on others is in how we react in those times. During these events I have seen our people pull together and at times make something out of nothing. The impact of their actions inspired others! Our ancestors would be proud of our efforts. I want you all to know that from the Waccamaw Pageant Committee and the School Day Committee that we appreciate your sacrifice and your wiliness to serve your people! I have one more big event before I rest. My ECHS Varsity Cheerleaders will be in competing at West Bladen at 2 tomorrow! Please say a prayer for us!
