In the last few weeks many Jews from around the world have moved to Israel and made Aliya. The wave of new immigrants has primarily been from the United States and France. So other than the accent and the cuisine what is the BIGGEST difference between the 2 groups? If you guessed that the olim/new immigrants from the United Stated can register to vote for the Federal elections in 2014 you are correct! Thats right, even though a US citizen lives here in Israel for a temporary period of time or takes dual citizenship they have the right to VOTE! What a country! Make that countries!!
