In the light of recent news we wanted to address suicide and depression. Often they go hand in hand. Often they dont. Its difficult in life when you loose the ability to want to fight for living.its tiring,draining and a complete spiral. also often misunderstood. Its hard too explain to others that whats going on outwardly can be completely different to the storm of emotion/anxiety and despair inwardly. Also you dont have to have been through stuff to feel less than happy. This is often misunderstood too. Depression is a label-it doesnt explain the intensely individual/personal/ often isolating circumstances of our stormy inner world. Some of us cope,some of us dont. It doesnt matter who you are,what you have what t you have or have not done. There should be no judgement in the journey of anothers depression. Suicide is an ending that leaves those of us still living with more questions than answers. We often question our own choices,our own mortality. For some suicide is an attractive option. More so when another soul has completed the decision to end life. But that choice is so final and we KNOW There is another way,wether you are at crisis point or simply exhausted from trying to keep going. Its not a simple way,its not a quick fix,nor is it a perfect solution. But support,guidamce and healing can be found and a rainbow can be created in your life. Light is always trying to penetrate even the very darkest of places. There are many amazing organisations in the uk such as Samaritans. Who are available to listen 24 hours a day. We at WOW are available for anyone who wants to find their rainbow no matter how far away that seems. Please hold on . keep going. Get support. Even if your soo tired of it all you are not sure you care. WE CARE. So do plenty of others.we promise.no matter what. .we can always find a way. At WOW we are quailified warriors who have faced despair.and are now warriors of light. we have a way through the very darkest of places. We got asked this week. Where do I start?nothing makes sense. Our response. Theres not much about life that does make sense, good or bad, and so Its not about starting. Its about putting one foot in front of the other. And we will walk beside you across all terrain. until you find that path and you can start running to your rainbow.....
