In the light of the stats on Global Christianity (our last post), Kamil Kiroglu** is challenging us to defend biblical truth actively. He talks about Europe, Turkey and North Africa where Christianity had a significant history, but in all three regions today Islam prevails and Biblical Truth is either unknown or an ancient myth to millions. He says History has proven that any portion of biblical truth which is not intentionally declared and upheld, will not withstand subversion by the lies of Satan. Satan’s greatest and most effective lies against the knowledge of God are told in our schools, in the media, in our workplaces, in the books we read, the movies we watch and at the malls where we shop. These lies are often promoted by the politicians we have voted in, teachers we have employed, TV channels we watch, newspapers and magazines we support. Truth will not prevail unless we deliberately fight to defend it. (**A Gateway News columnist).
