In the midst of a crisis, you have shown us so much support and encouraging words, that there is no better way for us to repay such kindness than working even more relentlessly to help animals. We, humans, fear the end. But our furkids don’t quite know what is looming. And we prefer they don’t. The young ones play, and the old ones chill. They are composed and at ease like they always are. It’s terrifying to imagine, 700 furkids stranded without a roof (and torn awning) over their heads. But you know what, Life goes on. The sun rises, and the birds chirp. Without fail, puppies and kittens descend from above. Just before we were served the eviction notice, we received four roly-polys with their mother. They are about to see and hear the world. Will they be disappointed, or will they be thrilled? I hope you can help us make the latter happen. In just about a few more weeks’ time, these fatties should be ready to go home with their new, and hopefully, forever families. They will be loved like they are the most precious gems on earth, go on many exciting adventures, learn to swim, learn to fetch frisbees, play with kids and squeeze in beds with their pawrents. They will lead such splendid lives and grow into such beautiful dogs. And they will make memories with the people they love most on earth, stay by them in good times and bad ones, smell their toxic farts and still love them to bits. Many years later, when the time comes for them to return to the Heaven they descended from, they will have their best friends reminiscing the memories they had together and mourning for them. And in the days they are not around, the love they leave behind will continue to warm the hearts of those who have had the blessed opportunity of having these precious babies in their lives.
