In the midst of all the nightmare that is going on, heres a little something that could warm your hearts. Gazas Orthodox Church had hosted over 800 people (amongst thousands of others) that was forced to flee from the Israeli shelling in Shajaia - East of Gaza, that had killed over 60 people, yesterday. Not only had they offered shelter, the church had also kindly provided Iftar for their brothers and sisters. This, is the Palestine you dont see. This, is the Palestine they dont want you to see. Contrary to what Israel and the world media wants you to believe, people of all faiths do live side by side, in absolute harmony. Whats happening in Gaza right now, affects the community as a whole - Muslims, or non. Israels brutality, does not discriminate. And if it isnt already apparent to you, as it has been said many times, whats happening in Gaza, has no absolute tie to religion. Standing up for the oppressed, isnt an issue of Religious obligation. If youre human with a perfect conscience, you should care. *According to the MOH Spox, the number of those killed have reached to an exceedingly (Im running out of words to describe just how great the number is!) high amount of 604 people, with over 3700 others injured. If youre not willing to do much else, at the very least - please share. Allow for your family and friends to see, what your news stations, will never tell them.
