In the midst of many changing situations currently going on Ive - TopicsExpress

In the midst of many changing situations currently going on Ive been quietly worrying and trying to keep a positive attitude about my boy Kane.....a few weeks back, he started having massive amounts of very fast growing growths popping up all over him....plus his paw pads have gotten very hard, rough, cracking, & white....my first and foremost worry was the horrible C word and/or autoimmune disorder from either genetics or all the meds/anesthesia during surgery. THANK GOD....the growths turned out to only be cysts (tested and all are perfectly healthy cells) but they want to either leave them alone for now and then completely remove them if paws start to improve because the cysts get infected when they rupture or if they open them up....so we are on antibiotics, and the vet wants to wait and see if the paw pads start to show signs of either improving or getting worse before making a decision to do a biopsy on his pads because he will have to be put under (again) to do a deep tissue sample for the biopsy to check for an autoimmune disorder :( Please keep him in your prayers we need a clean bill of health to proceed with his continued care & recovery.
