In the misleading doublespeak of our President, frequently mirrored by the news media: In the year since she arrived, the deficit has plunged by more than $400 billion. In real world terminology, our deficit has actually INCREASED by another $489 billion in that time. It just increased at a smaller pace than the previous year as we continue to rack up trillion dollar deficits.
