In the more complex relations within the circle we have Phase 3. Resistance/Refusal opposite Phase 9. The Dagger. In Astrology the archetypes would be Taurus opposite Scorpio. In this image the Resistance is partly symbolized by the stable power of the Bull/Taurus and the Dagger is symbolized by the harm the toreador has done with the hooks (Scorpio). It is also the guilt and remorse he is experiencing. Perpendicular on that tension field we have Star of the Day (Leo) opposite The Elixir (Aquarius). Normally it is the showmanship of the Toreador that is representing this Star-phase. But now he is overwhelmed with remorse and he is maybe crying tears of remorse and compassion (Elixir). In any case the Bull is representing the compassion and the forgiveness. Both are Resisting further fighting. This picture is the perfect illustration of the so-called Substance Cross in the Double Healix model: 3. Denial opposite 9. Sadism and perpendicular to it 6. Passion/Egotism opposite 12. Compassion/Altruism. It is one of the three crosses we discern in the human (and animal) soul.
