In the morning dad has a surgical biopsy where they will just go in to get a deeper look, a better perspective on what they are working with. There will be a little more to it while he is under anesthesia and for our closest loved ones, you know the details. While we are anxious, nervous, maybe a little fearful of the unknown, we are hopeful, confident, and have faith that God is in total control and will work his magic in whatever way he sees fit. Mrs Lynn Ray, I have thought constantly about your prayer with us the other night. Your words have been running through my mind constantly. Specifically when you said, thank you Jesus for showing Vonne this sickness, for bringing it to light so he can now get better, work on healing, because before now, we had no idea his body was damaged. That prayer as a whole and those words have given me such a new perspective and outlook on this situation as a whole. I am thanking God on a whole new level at this point, not because our dad is sick of course, but because I have been given an opportunity to really take a look at my faith in God and my life as a Christian. I definitely dont go around preaching and demanding to honk if you love Jesus but Im a true believer in God or so I thought. Im far from judgmental, I am very openminded, believe everyone is created equal, Im not any better than the next guy, Im far from perfect, and I make mistakes. Not to mention, I believe that everyday is a new opportunity for growth and change within myself. However, these things do not make me a Christian. Since we have been here with dad, Ive seen where my faith has been lacking, MY will has been my answer at times, even when I knew GODS will was something totally different, I pray but I dont REALLY pray until something goes wrong or times are difficult. I just know that God is working here in more than one way and Im grateful to have been given this experience. Please pray for our dad in the morning as I know prayer works and anything in larger numbers makes a much bigger impact. Thanks in advance.
