In the morning of 24th Feb 2011, my mum called & told me my younger sister had been involved in an accident, she was already at Kisii Level 5 Hospital in a critical condition before being recommended to be immediately transfered to Russia Hospital in Kisumu. On arrival she was placed in ICU with serious head injuries. Two or so hours later at around 3pm, she was declared dead. My mum called, crying. I disconnected & concluded for myself. Am not easily shaken with feelings & emotions, but that particular day I was. I was in shock. It came to pass. In March 2012, I had been chatting with a friend, and a former classmate in the early morning as she was leaving Nakuru for Nairobi. I wished her safe journey but continued chatting. We halted our chat, and in the afternoon. I texted, no reply. I texted again, no reply. I called, mteja. I relaxed before logging in to facebook, only to find a post from common friend on my wall. Boooom!!!!! I was in total shock. It was unbelieveable. I called several friends and confirmed the worst news. 2nd death that real shook me, that real shocked me, making my entire body numb, dumbfounded. I was with also a common friend, we couldnt even talk. We were at a local joint for a Manchester United early kick-off, we never watched the game. Today morning, Fidels sudden demise almost caused feelings, emotions & numbness reminiscent to the previous two occassions. #RIPFidelCastroOdinga. Your demise, may be for reason it happened at your prime age, with a seemingly great future has made me real feel it. Again, #RIP
