In the morning when I get my coffee from a coffee shop near my home, a tall Caucasian guy will also drop in get his coffee. He will greet the baristas with his big booming voice with a German accent. A few weeks ago, I met him in a seminar and I mentioned to him that we both go to the same coffee shop. I later found out that he is German-Swiss and the founder and CEO of a “brain power” training company that helps people to improve their memory and creativity. I thought that it is funny that he can’t remember that we actually go to the same coffee shop. Weeks went by and yesterday I bumped into him. I greeted him by his first name and he looked at me. It took him awhile before he smiled and greeted me back (no name). Whether he truly remembers me or not, I have not idea...
