In the most perplexing turn around of events, Chemase high school have been disqualified from the Nakuru region Secondary school games despite coming 2nd in their Pool. This was according to the organising through IDAC where they ratified the appeal raised by Kongoi Sec school. According to a source who is among the sitting panel, Kongoi had alleged that Chemase had fielded a playe r whose legibilty was questionable since the player had previously played hardball for a different school. The said player had not attained the required minimum duration acceptable by the rules. The committee prompted Chemase sec to be disqualified as per the rules. Following that decision, Kongoi high became the benefited from the decision hence they will thus meet Kamagut in the semi set to be played tomorrow at Baringo high. Chemase sec are out of the competition.
