In the movies, you have seen military pilots detect a laser pulse and freak cause someone has a missile locked on to them. Then they do some fancy flying and yada yada. If the laser was itself the weapon, the aircraft would already be done for before the warning. Guess what... yep, US military lasers have reached about that point. I do not think I am weak on defense when i say maybe we should reconsider the size of our defense budget. I think I am being realistic. Not only do we have lasers that can shoot down planes at the speed of light, we have invisiable tanks.
