In the news earlier,President Jonathan fumes over North-West governors’ reluctance to sponsor Christian pilgrims to Jerusalem, and we may also want to know why he isnt fuming about South-East governors refusal to sponsor indigenous Muslims in their States on pilgrimage to Mecca. We say stop meddling with religion,it burns, itll burn, itll raise noises and swing tempers but at the end,it serves no good cause for the state to take responsibility for religious rites. Sponsoring Pilgrims is a needless and unwarranted enterprise, but again, this is Nigeria where Religion and Corruption are a twain industry. It sells, insanely well. KATSINA: A Christian Teacher purportedly blasphemes against Islam and religitards, first cousins of Shekau and jobless lame heads went on to raze down two churches to register their angst and then authorities shut down the school to avoid further escalation. Most of these perpetrators are out of school children in the same state where the Governor approved N360million for building 34 Mosques. This is what crass ignorance breeds, put these children in school, teach them tolerance and respect for constituted authority. Whenever I hear riots of this nature,I am so pained I feel like pulling out a 3-forked horsewhip and beating the shekau out of those pathetic turbaned-traditional elders. They serve no use except showcasing their nobility during durbar and attending public functions/luncheons. Ceremonial heads, thats all. When you close down a Private school, you have barefaced ruined someones business and tacitly emboldened the cause of those heedless insurrectionist who say Boko is Haram. PS: While this Country has two Satellites in space,it is unable to tell how helicopters deliver arsenals/foods to marauding miscreants and Terrorists in broad daylight. We are being pawned, daily. #WarMerchandising #ReligiousBigotry #TerribleLeadership
