In the next term, Secondary and Tertiary Education will be transformed to meet the current and future needs of the nation. Civics, Culture, Technical and Vocational Skills, Agriculture and Hospitality will feature prominently in the curriculum. What’s more, a new Polytechnic will be built to provide more technical and vocational training for Dominicans. Particular attention will be placed on Science and Technology. Every effort will be made to ensure that Dominicans have access to the Information and Communication Technology facilities. Also, an ICT Park with units for training and business enterprises will be established to create new jobs in the ICT sector.
