In the off chance, that one of the people that lets their dog run loose all over Fort Marcy Park follows this page....Why do you get to choose to break the law? Why cant you just go to An off leash dog park like all the other people do who want to let their dogs run free and be around other off leash dogs? Is it an ego thing, do you think that you are better than the people that are at the off leash dog park? Is it laziness? You dont want to drive there? Parks are filled with people walking their leashed dogs for a reason. Many of us live in the neighborhood. Many of us cannot take our dogs to off leash dog parks because of behavior issues or health issues. The last thing we need is to be accosted by off leash dogs everywhere and owners that have attitudes towards those of us that are actually following the law. Your behavior is not only illegal, its rude, its unneighborly and its passive aggressive. It puts everyone else in charge of the safety of your dog. When I see someone with their dog off leash, I dont see a relaxed person that trusts their dog. I see someone that could care less about their dog, somebody that is extremely ignorant about what could happen to their dog and someone that blames others for things that are their fault.
