In the pass few days been busy running in out of Police station. More and more abused, this time a lady was slapped and hit on her face leaving a scar and thankfully as proof to show the employers are abusing them, withholding passports and salary. The latest this people were told to work without demanding for salary, if they did they will be beaten. The were given a choice to run without any money or passport! Sadly this cruelty is done by neighborhood restaurant owners who I have personally known. The wonderful police of Malaysia have willingly exposed that I was the person helping these people to lodge report and handing them over to the High Commission of India. Yesterday one inspector Rohaini took my identity card and she had the cheek to ask me why I helped these people, another inspector asked me why am I helping these useless Indians, they are liars and clever to manipulate!!! Anyways I am happy that they are out from the clutches of bad employers who shamelessly fell at the cooks feet asking him to come back as they cant manage without a cook.These people had abused and cursed that the cook and family will be stranded on the street for helping his fellow Indian. The cook Thillarajan had worked for 8 years with them taking all sorts of nonsense! Final was when they told him he will have to work without salary or work permit till they are ready to send him! They call him a traitor for informing about the abuse of a fellow worker to the High Commission of India. Murugan, worked for 7 years,Last one year salary hold, kept without work permit for 5 years. Finally a mock drama to sent him home. Brought to the airport made sit for 20 mins and brought back. After that many days of promise to send him home and finally to get someone to drop him in Thailand for him to find his way home! Recued and sent to the HCI and he went home without his one year salary. This man took most of the beating by the lady boss with her shoes and the male boss taking him in a car to a secluded place, hit and brought back to the restaurant. He was almost mentally stressed and stopped talking! Praba & Prakash did not last very long, after the bosses hit him and stopped giving their salary. The lady boss actually told them that without her permission these boys will never be able to leave the country!!! Smart fellas filed a report and went to the HCI. Ambika - she happens to be a relative to the lady boss! Called to come visit and help out the old mother of the lady boss!. Made to work long hours, in the house and retaurant! Just 10 days being with the family she decided to go back. She was told that since they paid her air fare to get here, she will have to pay the money to leave. She was moved to the restaurants hostel and was made to work there to settle her air fare as well as her return fare, as she was on a tourist visa is now illegal in Malaysia and told to work till she earns enough to pay the fine for overstaying. On 23rd evening she was asked to sit in the car and taken for a ride...at a secluded area the lady boss stopped the car and hit Ambika for informing the relative about the abuse. Slapped her and punched on her face. After a whole day at the police station yesterday hoping for a good outcome from the authorities!! Today they had a good lunch and taking a nap...me happy :)
