In the past 3 days, Ive realized how deep crab and colonial mentality is ingrained in my country-men. Despite not knowing anything about the subject matter they are commenting on, they will still make it a point to say something negative to put you down. Foreign brands are still favored over local ones despite the latter being more superior. However, Ive also meet and talked to Filipinos who are proud of what we are doing. They can picture what we created to be globally competitive. They can see us going head-to-head with foreign brands. During the early stages of Nyfti Bicycles, we wanted people to know already that the innovators behind it were Filipinos. We knew coming out Filipino-made wouldve been a tougher route, than say, we were designed and made somewhere else. But we stuck with it because we are proud to be Filipino engineers. Our innovation is novel, it is already patent-pending. Our design is inspired by other designs but we made sure we we came up with something better and unique. Weve spent countless hours working and tweaking our design so it looks good and works right. More designs are in the works now which are even more novel than what is out there. So to the naysayers, my team and I will make you regret for doubting us. And to those who believe and bought into the idea that we can make great bicycles, we thank you. We will make sure your bikes are the best bikes weve ever made. I hope there are more of you who are proud to buy and support Filipino made products.
