In the past couple of days I was troubled about someones state of mind and decided to pray for this person. In my prayers the phrase peace of God was coming to my lips and likewise prayed too for my peace. This morning Philippians 4 was my textual passage to meditate upon and guess what the phrase popped out in the v 7: The peace of God that surpssses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus Now my friend, to say that the peace of God surpasses all understanding simply means such peace we cant explain it...you may likely never find a word to describe it, but the amazing thing about such peace is that we can experience it as God guards our hearts and minds. It is the peace you can ask for in the midst of your confusions, uncertainty, in the midst of changes and challenges. Another thing about this peace of God is that it brings comfort that settles your mind and assures you that God is in control of the situation and fills your minds with hope that allows you to feel very relax in all situations.Hmmmm, if you have this, then you have the peace of God. Whatever it is....I pray for you that may DAILY peace of God be your portion in the mighty name of JESUS!
