In the past few days , days that have seemed as years, we have been cared for by family and friends in the most beautiful acts of kindnesses and love that have blessed us beyond our ability to thank these dear ones. we are in awe of the goodness of so many. We know their goodness and acts of simple yet extravagant kindnesses, and in some cases acts of sacrifice are extended to us because they are children of the Most High God. I am looking out my office window that place me into a sea of various shades of sunlit green tree leaves. My husband is in a room filled with a multitude of machines, tubes and wires , not pretty in the least , until a nurse , therapist or other hospital staff step into to his sea of cold, frightening pinging gadgets with the brightest of smiles and warm voices and change that world into something warm and beautiful.
