In the past few months, heaps of people have been wondering why do I still use a BlackBerry. Indeed, as appalling as it sounds, yes, I still use this ancient gadget that was once thought to be the future of a mobile phone! Lets get inside my head and understand what holds me back from not moving to iPhone or Android Phone. 1. As a designer, there are 3 major devices that I encounter daily: - Laptop - Tablet - Mobile Phone 2. With laptop, I have no interest in knowing Windows made laptop since MacBook caters all the needs that most designers can think of, at least thats what I thought. 3. As a tablet owner, you want your device to sync with your laptop/computer (the main device), whether its to back-up your great ideas or some selfies that you do not want to lose! Well, since Im a MacBook user, the iPad is in that category and its too easy not to even look at the rest of the options. 4. Mobile Phone! Looking at what Ive written, it seems that I am an Apple fan and its not a surprise for me to have an iPhone, but in fact, Im using a BlackBerry (yes it still exists) - a phone that many young people may consider it as hideous. Many have even asked, Hey, why dont you use a smart phone? Not knowing that BlackBerry is one of the first smart phones - the IRONY!! Well, well, well - It is not because Im Indonesian or I love BlackBerry so much that I havent moved to what you people called smart phone. It is simply because I dont use my phone as much, as long as it can make a phone call, send a text/email and have internet connection - thats more than enough (at least for now). But of course, in the near future I will get that smart phone and that is why Im writing this long wonderful story of my dilemma of getting a new phone and hopefully you people that read this, can recommend me the phone that you think will be the best option for my quirky character :p Thanks for reading and will look forward to your beautiful notions :)
