In the past few weeks, I have read the works of Dr. Susan Blum “The Immune System Recovery Plan”, and of Dr. Susan Kolb “The Naked Truth about Breast Implants”. I have watched 2 webinar conferences by Dr. Alessio Fasano, M.D. who is chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Mass General Hospital for Children (MGHfC). Dr. Fasano also directs the Center for Celiac Research, which relocated in early January to MGHfC from the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of patients of all ages suffering from celiac disease, gluten sensitivity, and acute and chronic diarrheal diseases, and also treats infants and children who have difficult-to-treat gastrointestinal problems. Dr. Fasano also directs the Mucosal Immunology and Biology Research Center. Under his leadership, investigators are studying the molecular mechanisms of autoimmune disorders including celiac disease, and other-gluten-related disorders. He has been named visiting professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Each of these illustrious practitioners has stated repeatedly that many chronic diseases, (i.e. all autoimmune diseases, diabetes, fibromyalgia, cancers to include the rise in gliomas of the brain, and neurological diseases such as MS) are caused by toxins, gut dysbiosis, fungal and Candida overgrowth, parasites, and sensitivities to gluten, gliadin and other food sensitivities. These substances can cause illnesses due to chronic exposure alone even without certain genetic predisposition, but are more likely to cause illness in certain genetic profiles. These are the very same causes I have been telling my clients for years and have successfully helped my clients improve their overall well-being. Anyone interested in addressing either current health issues or wishes to work to prevent future health problems by eliminating, balancing, or harnessing these known causes, which are now being acknowledged by many medical practitioners in various specialties, contact me. Wishing you health and well-being. :-)
