Ms Kathy Xu, 30, quit her teaching job of seven years to start The Dorsal Effect, her own project to save sharks. She is trying to develop a successful eco-tourism business for the fishermen in Tanjung Luar, a village off the coast of Lombok in Indonesia, to steer them away from shark fishing.
