In the past three or so weeks, some huge decisions regarding my future! As I let you all know, I had decided to sell my condo in New Haven CT in a short sale. I had no plans set as to where to go next at that moment. I just knew at that moment, that my struggle to keep up here needed to end. My sister friend Lisa Miller was the first to step up and open her home to me in South Carolina, with her husband Wayne and her mom. A truer friend, one could not ask for! That morning I put my life in God’s hands and prayed for guidance in one of the most scary times of my life. The timing of the Haiti tag sale benefit held by my spiritual tribe at Branford Evangelical Free Church, was a perfect opportunity give back and to help save lives in a country that knows poverty beyond comprehension. So my heart sister Juanita Bunnell, and her tribe of heroes helped me transport my donation to the sale. I am happy to report that the sale this weekend netted $6,000.00 to our friends in need. I am proud that my things helped in this effort. I thank Team Haiti and ALL my friends for seeing me though the fears, tears and process of letting go. Among the miracles of love that have revealed themselves to me, I heard from a childhood friend Kim Kronvall Jordan telling me that she had a cabin on her and her husband’s land in Edmonton,KY. That it was mine if I wanted to come there! I could bring Luna, my best kitty friend and that I could help them launch an on-line antique business that they wishing to launch from the contents of their former business in IL. I felt immediately at peace with this in my heart, and I prayed on it hard! The gift is a once in a lifetime opportunity to live my dream of a cabin in the woods, surrounded by nature and love. I am in awe of the kindness and generosity of ALL my friends who hold me up with unconditional love. I would name you all, but would be afraid to miss a one of you, so forgive me for now, but know I love you all. I ask that you continue your prayers for me, that I am able to make this journey happen to live in the light of a new day.
