In the past two or three years, Ive had three crowns put in my teeth to replace long-damaged fillings. Two of those have had to be replaced already because they broke or kept popping out of position, and just now, while eating my lunch (a salad), the third one fell out. Ive stuck with my dentist throughout this because hes a nice guy, close by, and hes replaced all these crowns for free.... But now Im seriously wondering: Is he incompetent? Or is this a totally common thing when you get a crown, that you have to get it put back in/replaced every so often? Thoughts?
