In the presence of God there is fullness of joy (Psalms 16), honor - TopicsExpress

In the presence of God there is fullness of joy (Psalms 16), honor and majesty and strength (1 Chronicles 16), and times of refreshing (Acts 3). Being in the presence of God has a restoring power. Have you ever felt better after church? After your favorite song on the radio? After a powerful conversation with a friend? Are you going through a difficult time where pain ravishes your emotions? Have you been going through that pain for a while? I can’t believe the answer is as simple as this. Invite God into every moment of your day. Play Christian music in your car, at your work, and even when you get home. Pray when you have a spare minute. Talk to God as much as possible and sing praises to his name. Wait a minute, we’re human. Anything can trigger us into a negative moment when the pain will return. A song, commercial, movie, or words from someone can bring us back to that pain we’re experiencing. But, in the presence of God there is joy, honor, majesty, strength, and refreshing powers. All of those things wipe away negative feelings and hurt. Simply make your day as full of God as possible and your pain will melt away. The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord (Psalms 97:5). Isn’t that crazy? Here’s the cool thing. If you invite God to be with you for every possible moment of your day, then your life will soon line up with His will. You want answers to questions, fixes for your problems, justice for the wronged? Forget about them, worry not, and invite God in. I promise you God will talk and you will hear. God will move and you will follow. God will heal. The only thing you have to lose is absolutely nothing important that isn’t worth having in your life to begin with.
