In the presence of miracles there will ALWAYS be the a spirit of religion to contest and confuse the innocent. Its Satans Amen, to the pure work of Christ. Is there a greater miracle than the dead coming to life? Is there a greater offense to Satans kingdom than the audacity to walk into his seat of power and snatch a life from his hellish grip? The Pharisees studied and analyzed Christs work with great diligence and passion! They warned men everywhere of his evil doings and validated their claims with scripture...what did Jesus do? He rebuked them and walked steady into the fields of harvest making and sending out disciples... Week after week I sit in awe of lives being changed at the foot of the cross through ordinary men and woman who are becoming extraordinary leaders. Its the heartbeat...the pulse of the church... As a young man I remember my older brothers moving out and me finally getting a room to myself...I got my first record player for graduation and listened to Keith Green (a prophetic artist ahead of his time). He sang a song then that still moves me to tears Asleep in the light. A song of brokenness and rebuke to the body of Christ, calling us out of slumber and into compassion and action for the lost... Here I am 30ish years later watching it unfold before my eyes...and yet were just getting started... Do you see, do you see, all the people sinking down?
