In the previous days, St. Thomas Aquinas, a Dominican Priest, had a very good relationship with St. Josemaria, the Former Leader of Opus Dei. St. Thomas Aquinas often taught St. Josemaria how to spread Gospels among common people in an efficient manner, as the motto of Dominicans is Order of Preaches, which means that preaching is the strongest expertise of Dominicans. Both Dominicans and Opus Dei play the crucial roles in prospering the secondary-school educations in Hong Kong. The Dominicans and Opus Dei are from Spain. The Dominicans established Rosaryhill School in Stubbs Road and Escola Sao Paulo in Macau. The Opus Dei established Tak Sun Primary School in Jordan and Tak Sun Secondary School in Ma On Shan. The Sui Wo Study Centre in Tai Wai is operated by Opus Dei, which aims to shelter the wholesome growth of youngsters from various Catholic backgrounds. Moreover, the Opus Dei administered the editorial tasks of a Catholic newspaper called O Clarim in Macau. It is quite similar to the Kung Kao Po in Hong Kong, but it is a Macao version with Portuguese and English as predominant languages. From the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong, we have prominent priest leaders who grew up from Dominicans and Opus Dei. Fr. Dominic Chan Chi-ming is from Dominicans. Fr. Stephen Lee, who is recently appointed as Auxiliary Bishop, is from Opus Dei.
