In the quiet of the morning, I hold the first child to wake by - TopicsExpress

In the quiet of the morning, I hold the first child to wake by tree light. I love this time of year (pomegranate season). I watch as she drifts back to sleep at the breast. I start to wonder if at her young age, can she feel the love and appreciation we hold for her mere existence? I want to hold this moment forever before it becomes a whirlwind of voices and snacks and play. Before she becomes too big to fit perfectly into my lap. Do they all know the joy that they are even through our moments with tired and searching eyes? How can I become more connected and more caring to them before its too late?
