In the realm of you cant make this a*** up. Shootings in some neighborhoods like Bed-Stuy, Brownsville and Bushwick have spiked 50% compared to the same time period as last year. But this new policy arrives just in time. Officers are armed with spray paint and instructed to look for Graffiti and per instructions box it in black, red or white paint then fill it in. If its at a business theyre instructed to persuade the store owner to file a complaint. (And I guess close shop cause good luck facing a pissed offartist. The idea is to go after tagged work not murals. (Well thats nice) in the hopes of discrediting the artist and break their manhood. Oy! Hi way cops also are instructed to paint over hi way graffiti. These are dangerous neighborhoods folks. Maybe its just me but wouldnt their time be better spent keeping these places safe not graffiti free. Their not even getting the person who did it. Cops are not happy. (There go those complaining boys in blue again). Get my smock out boys.
