In the rear ... The axle tubes were too short for the planned tire and suspension setup - this required longer tubes to be installed and re-welded. The entire rear axle was then welded in temporarily so that the suspension can be built around it,. And back up front ... With the US Cartool fender braces installed, we added even more stiffening to the front end with these sneaky front frame bars. To provide more clearance in the engine bay we modified these bars to run from the firewall, through the wheel arches and then to the frame where they will remain hidden under the fender skin.
