In the recent months, we have often heard of alleged racist - TopicsExpress

In the recent months, we have often heard of alleged racist attacks against our fellow citizens from the North-Eastern states. Here is my analysis. 1. In colleges, hostels, and places where many students live, fights among groups are commonly heard of. When fights happen between students/youths, they can happen even over very trivial issues. 2. Lakhs of our fellow citizens from North-Eastern states happily live and work in many parts of our country without any problem. If at all, racism against them is so widespread as media wants us to believe, we would have seen fights breakout every single day. However, that is not the case. When two Telugu students fight, its not racism. When two Biharis fight, its not racism. When a Punjabi and a Gujju fight, its not racism. Why does it become a racist attack when one of the parties involved in the fight is from one of the North-Eastern states? 3. This gives rise to suspicion that sections of the media are either a part of a conspiracy or unknowingly became a part of a conspiracy to stoke strong separatist sentiments among our people from the North Eastern states. Therefore friends, the following is the conclusion. Our country is a land of many languages and cultures. We take pride in our unity in diversity. We may have subtle differences, but, at the end of the day, we are all ONE, integral parts of Ek Bharat, Sresht Bharat. Share this with everyone. Whether one is from Lakshadweep or Ladakh, Andhra or Arunachal, Telangana or Tripura, Manipur or Maharashtra, we are Indians, and we continue to be. When we all share same Nationalistic identity, there cannot be any place for the so called racism. Jai Hind! Bharat Mata Ki Jai!!
