In the spirit of Lauri Hedman here are my five gratitudes for today. 1. Having a video monitor for the boys rooms. Because not only can I see they are safe, I get to look at their sleeping peaceful faces whenever Id like. 2. For prayers of patience being answered in the form of giving in to James delight in pumping the shampoo bottle in the bath and living the wonderment and accomplishment through his spirit. 3. A game of cards with my youngest daughter that drew all the kids to the table, that turned into not only an opportunity for my elder two daughters to discuss their issues, but also lingered late into the evening and gives me that lovely glimpse into their hidden worlds. 4. A new gift in the sense of labour that the new house kindles in me and the peace an orderly home provides. 5. Josh Turners song, One More Try, that although the lyrics might assumedly speak of pain, actually gives me hope and strength. And his tender voice, along with Trisha Yearwoods, is like a spiritual embrace. Hello, Father.
