In the state legislatures infinite wisdom creating a hostile business environment through taxes, regulations and forced wages and benefits they are now working on forcing us to pay sales taxes on Internet sales. There is no justification to require a company from out of state to collect a tax which funds our state. If they did their jobs correctly companies would want to do business here. On a side note, there is also legislation floating around Lansing to require businesses to provide paid sick time for employees. Benefits should be a tool for employers to attract employees NOT a tool for politicians to garner votes.
