In the two months or so that I have been on this page I have realized how many folks are interested enough in these old tractors but know little about them. When I was a kid I spent endless hours on them....most of that time was spent thinking/daydreaming on how the heck I was gonna get off of them (and away from milking cows!). Of course decades later I love them and would like to have more and know more etc. (When I was a kid I just drove the pee out of them and when they broke ...which they rarely did....I was able to get off! The point of this post is.....if you want to really learn more about these wonderful machines you need to plan to attend The Gathering of the Green in Davenport Iowa (google the dates) it is a semi annual event with seminars. Vendors. Displays and a LOT of people who love old tractors. In one weekend you can see more...learn more ..and make more friends and contacts than you can imagine.
